Dr. William Harvey attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After five years of residency in general surgery at the University of Tennessee at Memphis, Dr. Harvey focused his training in the area of vascular surgery. Dr. Harvey completed fellowships at The Arizona Heart Institute and the University of Tennessee.In 1998, Dr. Harvey went on staff at Norwood Clinic as a vascular surgeon. Dr. Harvey remained there for ten years and then joined The Vascular Institute of Birmingham in 2008.

Dr. Harvey did an awesome job on my daughter Dana we drove 100 miles to get to see him and he done everything possible to give the best healthcare in the United States. I will always be thankful for what he and his staff did.

Vaughn Dr Harvey is an amazing doctor. He operated on me last week and my legs are great after two years of going to other doctors that couldn’t find what was going on with my legs. He is super friendly and very personable. I would highly recommend Dr Harvey to ANYONE who is having any type of vascular issue. I am so grateful to this doctor and wish every doctor was this down to earth and thorough. Thank you and your staff so much, I feel like a new person!!!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful I would definitely use Dr. Harvey again he explains everything so you can understand it. When I went to see Dr. Harvey he saved me from having a surgery that I didn’t need. Doctors like Dr. Harvey are hard to find. Thank You very much, Sharon
