I have been very pleased with my experience with Dr. Woodall and his friendly staff. I was having lots of pain in my hip and leg which stemmed from a ruptured disc. Dr. Woodall suggested I try getting an epidural to see if a non surgical procedure might provide relief. It did not provide enough relief therefore back surgery was required. Dr. Woodall preformed the surgery. I immediate get relief and was able to walk again!!!! Very thankful !!! I strongly recommend Dr. Woodall to anyone looking for a compassionate and competent surgeon with a staff that makes you feel that they appreciate you and work to make your office experience very pleasant.

I first saw Dr Woodall back in 2002 when my arms were numb and cold and stayed that way. He was so compassionate and caring to me and my husband. I’ve had to have several back surgeries which he told me would happen once he corrected one disc it would be like a domino affect. After the 10th surgery he placed a spinal stimulator and that was a miracle in itself. Without him I would be in so much pain I would’ve had to file for disability, which I was not willing to do. His knowledge and expertise has made it possible for me to walk, continue to work and do pretty much so choose to do within reason. There’s not enough space here for me to tell ALL the wonderful things about this man and his incredible staff. All of them truly treat you like a family member. I would highly recommend anyone having back issues to go see Dr Woodall.

There is no other neursurgeon I would want to do surgery on me. He is knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. His staff is also first class and understand when you need to be seen and are very helpful. The OR staff always comment on what a great man and surgeon Dr. Woodall is and reassure that you are in the best hands. I feel lucky that I found him!

I never got to see the Dr. The PA was rude and once I stated I would not be interested in their nerve stimulator she was even more detached and very non caring. Upon leaving she gave me a brochure on nerve stimulation even after I said I was not interested. Her follow up appeared to me to be nothing more than her reading the report of the doctor that read the MRI, NOT her doctor. I was very disappointed.

Dr. Woodall has performed three lower back surgeries on me, since 1995. I had to have my L-4-5 Fused. My recovery was excellent. Back to teaching school after 20 days. Almost in record time, even though I had to stay off my feet , during my first week back. Still doing Awesome! Dr. Woodall is the kindest, most considerate, and Dr I have ever used. Also consider Dr Woodall a close friend!

Dr Woodall did an invasive discectomy btw L4-L5 10 years ago and it was the best decision. I am still going strong. He’s very conservative and will not worknon you unless you truly need it.
