Dr. Carter’s interests include general obstetrics, office gynecology, gynecologic surgery and healthy lifestyle coaching. She has a passion for coaching women in how to implement healthy lifestyle changes to prevent chronic disease, lose and maintain healthy weight and experience healthy pregnancies. Dr. Carter is simply the best! Very knowledgeable, confident, and always made me feel as if I was in a safe place with her. She is friendly, always takes her time, and does what’s best for her patients. I cannot recommend her enough, she is simply the best!

Making an appointment was easy as I was able to do it online, even as a new patient. The staff and nurses were friendly. Dr. Carter was thorough and took the time to listen to my concerns. Would definitely recommend this practice and Dr. Carter to any woman looking for a new obgyn!

Dr. Carter delivered my last two babies and I am still a patient of hers. Most importantly Dr Carter is very knowledgeable and confident which can ease the mind of any patient. Dr. Carter always takes times with me to discuss any questions or concerns that I may have. Dr Carter is very personable and friendly. Over time we have developed a wonderful doctor patient relationship. She is a great doctor and I wouldn’t want anyone else to deliver my babies or you know all that personal business!

I can not recommend Dr. Carter enough! She spent ample time with me and my husband and answered all of our questions thoroughly during my pregnancy. She never made us feel rushed. It was easy to trust her due to her calm demeanor and patient bedside manner. She made me feel very comfortable during my entire pregnancy and delivery.

Dr. Carter was my doctor during my pregnancy and she also delivered my baby. I couldn’t speak highly enough of her. Throughout my pregnancy she always listened and was very caring and made me feel very confident. During my delivery (it was my first baby) she made me feel truly at ease. It was so wonderful to have full trust in someone on such an important day. Thank you, Dr. Carter!

As a new patient, I was anxious for my appointment. From reception, to nurse, to Dr Carter’s exam, I was put at ease. The Trussville office is quite and welcoming. I would recommend Dr Carter and the Trussville office to anyone looking for an OB/GYN.

Dr. Carter was my doctor who I saw during my pregnancy and she delivered my baby in November 2017. She is very sweet and takes her time to listen to any concerns I may have had and answered all of them and made me feel very comfortable. She did an excellent job delivering my baby. I will continue to see her for my annual visits. Dr. Roberts is very nice as well when I saw him a few times. I would recommend Dr. Carter and Dr. Roberts to anyone!!

Dr. Carter delivered my baby and I am forever grateful! I felt she really cared about my baby and I. My baby was breech and she delivered her via C-Section, the cord was around her neck two times and I am forever grateful she took the time to monitor my pregnancy carefully. I never felt rushed or like she didn’t care. I recommend her to anyone!!

I have been a patient of Bham Ob/Gyn for a number of years. I just saw Dr. Carter for the first time at the Trussville office. I was pleased and surprised to learn during the exam that she had taken the time to review prior test results to better advise and treat me. She made me feel comfortable and was also very easy to talk to.

I had to change doctors recently and selected Dr. Susanna Carter at the Trussville St. V. location. I was so impressed with how efficient and friendly everyone was. I am so lucky to have selected Dr. Carter. She was very nice, explained everything to me and answered ALL of my questions. I will certainly be recommending her to all of my friends.
