I absolutely love Birmingham obgyn and all of the doctor there! I’ve seen pretty much everyone in the office but Dr. Ellis is my doctor and I absolutely love her. She sits and explains everything to you and answer any and all questions no matter what they maybe! I highly recommend anyone looking for a ob or gyn to use her or anyone there! I’ve had 2 children now with then now and another due in Jan and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! Thank you everyone at Birmingham obgyn for always being nice, friendly, and caring!!

Dr. Ellis is the very best doctor. She is kind, patient, and incredibly smart. She’s always had what’s in my best interest at heart and I know I can fully trust her. I look forward to my appointments because she is genuinely a wonderful person to be around! I’m so grateful to be in her care.

I love Dr. Ellis and her nurse! They are so friendly and made me feel very comfortable for my annual check up! Birmingham Ob/Gyn are also taking great precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic. If you are looking for an Ob/Gyn I recommend Dr. Ellis! She deserves more stars than allowed!

You will not find a more knowledgeable and caring OB or GYN. She is so supportive and helpful. Her nurse Lauren is wonderful also! They make a great team!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ellis’ since I was 17 and first going on birth control. She is always so nice, and gives me great advice about anything I don’t know. I’ve recommended her to so many of my friends over the years. Love Dr. Ellis!!!

I am 100% convinced that there is no better doctor out there, especially if we narrow the category to OBGYNs. Dr. Ellis has become a friend to me as she’s been there for my greatest joy and sorrow. She has exceptional professionalism, bedside manner, intellect, a listening ear, empathy, and medical gifting. I truly see her as a God sent in my life and the life of my family. So grateful and could not recommend a medical professional more highly!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ellis for over 8 years now. She has always made me feel very comfortable. She never talks over your head. She always communicates in a way I could understand. She will be delivering mine and my husband’s first child. She has made us first timers feel at ease by answering all of our crazy questions. We wouldn’t want anyone else to deliver our first born child. Grateful to have her as our doctor!

Dr. Ellis is the BEST doctor I’ve ever seen! I’ve been seeing her for 6 years, and she delivered my first child two years ago. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and caring. I had a hard time with delivery and postpartum, and she was wonderful. I can’t say enough good things. I can’t wait to go through another pregnancy with her.

Dr. Ellis is fantastic! She has been my gynecologist for several years and she was also my obstetrician when I was pregnant. She is very knowledgeable, and she always made me feel comfortable. When I was induced she was the one to deliver my baby, and I could not have been in better hands. She was very comforting and encouraging during delivery, and she checked on me several times when I was still in the hospital. I cannot recommend her enough!

I have only seen Dr. Ellis for my annual check-ups, but I have always had a good experience with her. She listens to any concerns I've had and offers her expert advise on the options. I am very happy with my OB/GYN and plan to stay one of her patients.

I loved the entire staff I dealt with while I was there! I appreciate Dr. Ellis listening to all of my issues and taking actions on those issues that day. She also created a plan on things to work on first. I felt at such ease! So thankful to have been blessed by ya all!

Dr. Shannon Ellis has been my gynecologist for several years now. At each and every appointment she continues to set herself a part and proves that she is a leader in her field. She is extremely knowledgeable and most of all she takes her time to ensure you have a full understanding of what is going on with your health as well as address each and every concern. Because of this, I chose Dr. Ellis to perform my surgery a few weeks ago. I couldn't have been more pleased with her bedside manner and the care I received from her and her office staff. The night prior to having surgery she personally called me to make sure I wasn't nervous and answer any questions that I may have had. I have recommended Dr. Ellis to several of my friends and family and will continue to do so for years to come.

Dr. Ellis has been my doctor for several years - delivered my child and even helped with a cyst removal. Excellent surgeon and great doctor - I was so relieved when I went into labor and found out she was the doctor on call that day because I knew I would be in good hands. My husband and I both felt better knowing she was delivering our child.
