Dr. Goyal is fine but this practice is HORRIFIC! The absolute worst medical practice I've ever encountered. The front desk employees are rude, short with people, and unhelpful. The nurses and doctor are fine. When leaving, you have to stop by the front desk to make a follow-up appointment...it is provided to you whether it works or not. Even though you're at the practice, if the provided follow-up appointment doesn't work, you must call a phone number and leave a message with someone else who is unhelpful for yet another person to call you back with the rescheduled date/time....again not a date or time of your choosing, but a date/time is just provided to you. And, you better hope that date/time works because you have to go through the process ALL OVER AGAIN to get another date/time and hope to God that one works. I've called to reschedule before and was given a date 3 months later...of course that date/time didn't work, so I was put on hold while the contact called the scheduling person, then was told the next alternative would be 6 MONTHS LATER. I've called the practice manager to complain - had to leave a message with an assistant and was never called back. Also, when my daughter was first put on seizure medicine, I had serious concerns about side effects that I saw and asked to speak to the doctor - which of course is completely unlikely at this practice. Quick tip - threaten to take your child off of the medicine "cold turkey" and you get a call back from the doctor...it's magic. Ridiculous. Everything about this practice and the staff is ridiculous and infuriating. I'm considering driving to Atlanta to a different pediatric neurologist just to avoid EVER having to deal with this insanity again.
