After breaking my fibula, my gp got an appointment with Dr. Hurowitz. I had to be worked in, told there would be a wait. I got right in, hardly a wait at all. The staff there was friendly and caring. The doctor' s bedside manner was what you hope for in a doctor, but he was also very detailed in explaining specifics about the type of fracture and healing process. Injuries are inconvenient and uncomfortable. This experience was pleasant all the way around. I am thankful for Dr. Hurowitz.

Dr. Hurowitz is very good. He actually sits down with you and explain in detail your complete diagnosis. Have been to three different podiatrist before being referred to Dr. H. His approach to conservative treatment of my Plantar Faciitis was the best and most logical. Thinking if I follow his orders I will be fine. Definitely worth the drive from Gadsden to Birmingham for the relief. I found me a Family Physician while there today. From now on it is St Vincent's first for me.

My experience with Dr. Hurowitz was outstanding and I would recommend him to anyone. He is a tremendous surgeon and explained everything so that I could clearly understand exactly what was going on. He was patient with my questions, thorough and never made me feel like he was in a hurry. He performed a double ligament repair on my ankle for the deltoid and anterior tabofibular ligaments. I am 47 years old and after 6 months I am running again. Thank you Dr. Hurowitz and your wonderful staff.

I put off having surgery for over ten years and I am so glad that I found Dr. Hurowitz and decided to have him operate on my foot. He is extremely intelligent, very patient, and very good at what he does. He takes his time with you and explains and answers questions in detail. I come from a family of Doctors, and I am very aware of what makes a good surgeon, and he is one. The office staff is professional and friendly and I have never had to wait for any length of time to be seen.
