Dr. Burgos has been in practice with Alabama Oncology since 2007. She primarily works at Brookwood Medical Center.
My Mother always suffered with chronic illness that debilitated her for days at a time. I remember being 5 years old and wanting to become a doctor to help my Mother.
I chose to be an Oncologist after spending a month rotation on the Oncology floor as a 3rdyear medical student. I was drawn and inspired by the cancer patients I saw and their willingness to fight. Our patients become part of our family and I’m blessed to work with people that feel the same way. Our staff at Alabama Oncology, from the front desk to the nurses, is awesome! I’m proud to be part of this team.
