The cervical, thoracic and lumbosacral areas are treated for disorders arising from degenerative, traumatic, infectious, congenital, developmental and neoplastic disease.

Foot and Ankle Surgery

Our physician specialists provide complete treatment for disorders of the foot and ankle. Treatment focuses on all appropriate options for care including surgical and non-surgical care. Our services include casting, bracing, custom bracing, orthotics and prosthetics, physical therapy and reconstructive and corrective surgery.

General Orthopaedics

An Orthopaedic Surgeon is a medical doctor trained in the correction or prevention of deformities or disease of the musculoskeletal system. Unlike a General Surgeon, an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializes in the care of the bones, joints, muscles, spine, nerves, ligaments, tendons and extremities (arms, hands, legs and feet).

Hand and Upper Extremity

Hand surgery is a subspecialty of orthopaedic surgery, although some of these surgeons are plastic surgeons. This subspecialty involves the treatment of all disorders of the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow. Some hand surgeons also do shoulder surgery and are upper extremity surgeons. Services include the treatment of fractures, dislocations, arthritis, and nerve and tendon disorders.

Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapists specialize in hand and upper extremity services, as well as Industrial Rehabilitation. Services include splinting, sensory testing, exercise, activity simulation and wound care.

Orthotics & Prosthetics

OrthoSports Associates now provides comprehensive upper and lower extremity orthotic clinical services to our patients. These services include custom-to-measure and molded-to patient model braces, custom fabricated foot orthotics, adult and pediatric footwear and depth inlay diabetic shoes. We also provide prosthetic clinical services which include partial foot prostheses. We have recently expanded our O&P Center to provide comprehensive upper and lower extremity prosthetic services to accommodate our patients who have above and below knee amputations and above and below elbow amputations.

Pediatric Orthopaedics

OrthoSports Associates Pediatric Orthopaedics offers sophisticated care for all of your child’s orthopaedic needs whether acute, chronic, or complex. We focus on the unique needs of the pediatric patient from birth to 18 years of age and emphasize early and accurate diagnosis, appropriate interventions and treatment, and long term monitoring of certain disorders of the muscles, bones and joints.

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Psychiatrists are medical doctors who specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Psychiatrists specialize in the non-operative care of the neck, back and limbs in addition to treating patients with disabling conditions to improve their functional abilities.

Physical Therapy

Our Physical Therapists evaluate, restore and rehabilitate orthopaedic/musculoskeletal problems. We strive to improve functional deficits related to strength, flexibility, endurance and balance. We offer a full range of services, including functional treatment concepts for the shoulder, neck, back and lower extremities.

Rheumatology

A Rheumatologist is a subspecialty of internal medicine, which deals with the diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Rheumatologists treat a wide variety of bone and joint problems ranging from simple bursitis and tendinitis, to more complex diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis and lupus.

Sports Medicine

Sports Medicine is a subspecialty of Orthopaedic Surgery dedicated to the identification, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletes at all levels. These physicians are concerned with the effects of exercise and the monitoring of its impact on active individuals of all ages, abilities and levels of fitness. They often specialize in arthroscopy, which can be used to look into knees, shoulders, ankles, elbows, wrist and hips with minimal incisions. The physicians of OrthoSports Associates who specialize in sports medicine are eager to help athletes prevent injuries. Click here for more info...
