Birmingham Hematology and Oncology Associates (BHOA) has been providing high-quality cancer care to patients in the Birmingham area for over 25 years. With 8 convenient locations in the Jefferson/Shelby/St.Clair metro area, BHOA provides patients access to a comprehensive range of the most current cancer care services. Our over-arching goal is to provide outstanding patient care in a community-based setting.

BHOA’s 15 board certified physicians and our team of certified oncology nurses strive to provide excellent clinical care, while being compassionate and understanding of the physical, emotional, and social impacts that can occur with a cancer diagnosis. BHOA offers an extensive clinical research program, which focuses on advancing cancer treatment therapies and technologies. We have a team of dedicated staff that coordinates our participation in clinical trials that have played an instrumental role in the development of FDA approved drugs.
